"Lion's Town" - Singapore

A visit and my first international trip to the "Lion's Town" - (where name Singapore derived). It is a unique city with harmonious blend of cultures and deciplinarian government wherein citizens and visitors are robbed on their freedom to spit on the streets and chew gum. A blandly efficient and safe to roam around, no traffic, crime and poverty free.

Singapore have vast array of captivating and splendid places to offer - wild and endangered animals, awe-inspiring beauty of the world beneath the seas, and breathtaking scenes of the lush greenery peppered with impressive themed attractions, tropical resorts, nature parks and heritage center.

Must See Places:

Jurong Birk Park - the largest in Asia Pacific and best in the world. It is a 20.20 hectares park which resembled the natural habitat of more than 9,000 birds from 600 species.

Singapore Zoo - a 28 hertares open zoo with 3,200 mammals, birds, reptiles and fishes. Come up close with these animals in a unique tropical rainforest plus newly open Rainforest Kidsworld wherein children can enjoy exhilarating activities and attractions.

Sentosa - an island getaway that offers a kaleidoscope of attractions and activities in an ocean park and tropical resorts atmosphere. Here you can have a closer encounter with the under water creations at the Underwater World and Dolphin Lagoon.

Singapore have lots of eye-popping sites to visit but time would not allow me to do so. Budget constraint counts also. Nevertheless, it was an extaordinary experience in a country not my own.
