Cebu's Shoe Capital

After our spiritual fulfillment in the Sanctuary of the Virgin Mary, we headed back to Carcar, Cebu - this time to fill our stomach.

Carcar is known as the "Shoe Capital of Cebu" and well noted on their sweet bucarillos and the tasty and crispy ampao and chicharon for "pasalubong".

We take our lunch at the Acacia Grill which also shares the same parking space on various shoe shops. The Grill is an open air next to a lagoon with a beautiful scene of a hill at the back. For only 149 pesos you can enjoy an "eat all you can" offer.

After our lunch, we roam at the shoe expo stalls and take some souvenir pictures at Carcar's P300,000 giant shoe.
