Tomas Oppus - a municipality of Southern Leyte which was politically subdivided into 50 barangays. This is the homeland of my endeared mother. A locality where farming and fishing are the chief support for a living. On our case, my grandparents and relatives were living on the mountain. Far away from industrialization. No transportation is available - more or less 2 hours walk for beginners to reach the area. No electricity and source of communications.
Technology had reached the area now. Though, not in its totality but at least they can enjoy just like other urban cities. Keeping this aside, I intend coming back to this place for I enjoy the hospitality of the people, the lifestyle, the environment and the healthy foods.
